Before we get to this week's challenge, I have to pay my respects to Lily Chilvers - owner/artist of The Octopode Factory and absolute sweetheart, who passed away this week after an 8-week battle with cancer. Lily was only in her 20's and her mom Mandy is also a part of our stamping community. I'm extremely shocked & saddened to hear the news of her passing and my heart just goes out to her family & friends. Lily was a repeat sponsor of our little ATC challenge blog here and always a pleasure to work with. She will be deeply missed in this tight-knit community of ours. Rest in peace, sweet Lily. :( Cancer freaking SUCKS.

So sorry to read about Lily... How could life be so cruel? ... May she rest in peace for now and evermore.
Jenn...that was a wonderful tribute to Lily from The Octopode Factory...she will be missed by so many!
ReplyDelete8 weeks? I was so surprised to hear of her passing from cancer. I can't believe she only had 8 weeks after diagnosis. She will be so missed. What a fabulous artist.
ReplyDelete8 weeks. Isn't it awful? I think I sat here with my jaw dropped open for 15 minutes before it even fully registered. So damn unfair. :(
