Saturday Reminder - Easter or Bunnies/Chicks

Well hello friends!  Happy Saturday again - I hope you all find some time for crafting this weekend.  :)  We are getting a bit of snow this morning in Massachusetts - 10 days ago it was 85 degrees and my daughter was at the beach.  So weird.

My DT and I have some more Easter goodies to share with you.  I have a little mini tutorial to share with you, something I do with some of my ATC's, especially holiday ones.  So first I'll share the ATC with you - this one uses Amalia Easter Bunny from Dilly Beans, colored with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits, and mounted on Stampin' Up! cardstock and DP:

I then turned it into an Easter card!  See:

I did this with my next ATC too.  This one uses Emo Easter Peeper Boy from Just Some Lines, colored with Prismacolor pencils and mineral spirits and Stampin' Up! markers:

And turned into a card:
Kinda cool, right?  It was a quick and fun way to make use of some of my ATC's.  I used ten of them to make a set of cards as a gift and it only took ten minutes or so.

Denice painstakingly colored and cut these tiny versions of Harvey (GORGEOUS!) from Michelle Perkett Studio:

Sharon made this funky pink fairy bunny ATC, so cute:

Mary also used Harvey from MPS, "popping" him out and mounting him on a nice bright yellow ATC:

Now on to this week's challenge - our sponsor this week is:

And our theme this week is:

BABIES!

Yup, that's it - just babies.  Make an ATC that has something to do with babies - think about what you can turn your ATC's into later on down the road:  gift tags, bookmarks, even greeting cards.  Here's what myself and the rest of the DT came up with to inspire you this week using some baby images from our generous sponsor - this first one is from me, I colored with Prismacolor pencils and mineral spirits and Stampin' Write markers from SU!:

This next one is my boy baby ATC, colored with Prismacolor pencils and mineral spirits.  I found this DP in my stash, thought it went well with the theme:

Denice's coloring is fantastic and I love the bright blocks of color and the faux stitching:

Mary's sweet baby girl ATC is too cute, and that tag is the perfect touch:

Sharon's baby girl ATC is too precious, love that ribbon and her pj's almost look soft and fuzzy, don't they?

Chelsea's baby boy ATC is sweet and simple, the soft blue gingham background is just perfect:

Hope to see you back here Saturday for our reminder post.  Have a fabulous week!
Peace.

Saturday Reminder - Flying Things!

Happy Saturday, friends!  Are you here for a bit of inspiration for our

Flying Things Challenge?!?

Yes?  Good - because that's what we have for you!

First up, though, it's very important to note that we are an ATC -only challenge blog.  ATC's are small pieces of art that measure 3.5 x 2.5 inches - please do not link up your project(s) unless they fit this description.  Thank you!

I made another ATC with our sponsor's, Digi Darla, Kitty Aviator image:

My next ATC uses a stamp from My Favorite Things - I heat-embossed the butterflies with silver:

And my last ATC uses images from The Octopode Factory:

Sharon created this gorgeous ATC with so much detail - love the addition of the fiber and the pink ribbon on the butterfly child's wand:

Denice went with hot air balloons for her ATC, and I just LOVE the soft masked look of this one, it's so striking:

We do hope you're flying high by now and ready to join us this week!  Don't forget, you've got until Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. EST to link up!  Peace.
